LUGARU

Moonlight pacing in a restless sky
Vivid shades of days gone by
Forest, river, mountain winds
Encamps their spirits, as their tale unspins.
Oh Lugaru of endless night
Half human, half wolf, thy destined plight
Command the spirit that rules your soul
Embrace the darkness, let the wild unfold.
Amongst the stars, the woods, the trees
Atop a mountain, across the seas
A wondrous creature to behold
The majestic wolf within a soul.
Power, might enthralls us all
Envious of that beckoned call
to primal feast and raging lust
The wild reign entrances us.
Lugaru, fit to rule man or beast
Half your soul commands the least
Beauty soars in either world
As a human, a wolf, your spirit soars.
Lugaru, Lugaru embrace your plight!
As your spirit flies through endless night
Through endless time your story unfurls
Amidst the tales of other worlds.
Part of you is in my blood
The rest of me envies your lot
To run with the pack that commands the night
In kindred spirits, we take our flight!
